Bushwood Gopher v Beer Cart Girl

I bought a Gunga Galunga polo specifically for a tournament at our club. It was a hit on the first tee, and at the banquet afterwards. I credit the little Bushwood gopher with bringing the mojo that day. We finished in the money at 3rd place. I paid $25 entry fee & $15 for the buffet … my portion of the prize money was $35 … it was a small field because most members had holiday plans that weekend. The gopher’s mojo however, was not strong enough to overcome the mojo of the beer cart girl. Our #1 golfer was quite smitten with her, so he kept waving her over to buy rounds of beer for our team. Just for the last 6 holes we had 3 beers each. We only lost by 2 strokes … imagine how great this story could have been if hormones could have been suppressed until AFTER the round? But nooooo. We only got $35. We should have received $50 each. Oh well. I don’t play golf for fame or money … or to flirt with the beer cart girls. I play to get out of doing chores around the house … haven’t painted the house in 10 yrs. Thanks USAG. I love the shirt.
